Dederick was approved and performance tested at AdelHeidsdorf in 1981. He has placed second in the Stallion class at Devon twice and has won the Champion Stallion and champion Performance Stallion titles four times at the VADA dressage show in Richmand. He has been named Champion Stallion, Grand Champion or Reserve Champion at the Charlotte, Raleigh, and Atlanta dressage and breed shows. In 1988 Dederick tied for First Place at First Level at the Eastern National Dressage Finals and is now trained through FEI levels. He has won many high score awards in dressage and has produced many successful offspring. Darra, Dare to Swing, Dakota, and Danus have each won USDF Hanoverian All-Breeds awards. Davanti, Delightful, and Dylan have all placed second at Devon. Derwisch was named Champion Weanling at Richmand in 1988, and Dedericka was Champion Weanling at Lexington in 1989. Dederick is also the sire of Diamonette, winner of the Maryland Hunter Futurity in 1994. Danus was the AHSA East Coast Regional Dressage Champion at Training Level in 1994, and during the 1994 AHS inspection tour, seven Dederick offspring won first premium awards. In 1995, his daughter, Denali, was declared Filly Champion, Best Young Horse Reserve Champion and Hanoverian Champion at NCDCTA at Raleigh. Currently ranked fourth USDF sire of successful dressage horses. |
